This role will work independently to maintain large datasets, execute queries in order to analyze and trouble -shoot results from novel epigenome-profiling assays. Test, standardize and implement analysis pipelines for sequencing and epigenomics analyses. Integrate genomics data with clinical metadata from large-scale pediatric cancer studies. Provide training and mentorship to junior level staff.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or Biological Sciences (e.g. Molecular Biology, or Genetics), or related field.

At least seven (7) years post-degree experience; including working with scientific computing languages (such as R, Python), general programming languages (e.g. SQL, Perl) and /or high-performance computing clusters (e.g. SUN Grid Engine).

Preferred:

Master’s Degree or higher in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or related field.
